Affordable Housing Program – Lease with Option to Own
Our goal at A.N.S. Community Builders is to contribute to the revitalization of urban areas and restore houses to their former glory by rehabilitating properties and occupying them with homeowners. We are focused on restoring homes that can be saved and helping credit-challenged families achieve homeownership and reduce housing insecurities within our community. We have designed a relatively unique approach to making this happen. We are seeking grant funding and donations to rehabilitate properties within Northeast Ohio that can be leased to own to families who are committed to live, work, play and thrive within the community.
Lease with Option to Own
Transitioning from renting to home-ownership
The program establishes a 10-year leasing agreement. At the end of the 10-year lease agreement, the property deed will transfer to the name of the resident, as PAID-IN-FULL! The new home owner will also receive $5,000 to use toward the upkeep of the property.
